Free film screenings are on the agenda today in Pittsburgh.
The Glass Slipper, a 1955 film, will be shown at 2 p.m. today at the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre at 2900 Liberty Avenue.
Described by the Pittsburgh Ballet company as a "heartwarming version of the traditional Cinderella fairy tale," the film contains a ballet sequence in which Ella dreams of dancing with her prince. Leslie Caron, who began her career as a ballet dancer, plays Ella.

Meantime, across the Allegheny River, the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh, located at 10 Children's Way, is offering a free screening of "A World of Signs" at 1 p.m. today.
Shirli Nikolsburg's film is described as an introduction to a "holistic experience (that)incorporates elements of play, American Sign Language, world classical and folk music, visual art, and multicultural traditions."
