Man shot in leg in Homewood

Pittsburgh police are investigating a shooting in Homewood that left one man injured.

An Allegheny County dispatcher confirmed a man was shot in the leg at about 8:05 p.m near the intersection of North Homewood Avenue and McPherson Boulevard.

According to KDKA-TV, a bullet from the incident went through the window of a home on North Homewood. Police said the victim walked nearly half a mile from the scene to the East Busway before calling to report the shooting.

There were no details available about the man's condition or possible suspects.
