Autopsies for the two children who died in a Greenfield house fire determined that they died of "acute smoke inhalation," according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office.
The children, 3-year-old Irihanna Hayward and 4-year-old Kamari Thomas lived in the house on Mirror Street where the Friday afternoon fire took place.
Investigators are still trying to determine what started the blaze, which quickly engulfed the row house.
The children's babysitter was hospitalized after suffering neck and back injuries escaping the blaze.
