The 30-day public comment period required for FCC approval of the sale of 90.5 WDUQ-FM is under way.
Duquesne University is selling the public station to Essential Public Media, a nonprofit organization that plans to preserve public radio programming.
During the public comment period, people can file written or electronic comments on the sale with the Federal Communications Commission. These can include a petition to deny the license or complaints.

Following the comment period, the FCC will review the comments before making its decision to approve or deny the application.
