A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Petersen Events Center on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh in Oakland for Eric G. Kelly, Stephen J. Mayhle and Paul J. Sciullo II, the Pittsburgh police officers killed Saturday morning in Stanton Heights.
The three officers will lie in repose from 4 p.m. Wednesday, through the night, and until 10 a.m Thursday at the City-County Building.
Arrangements also have been completed for private funerals for the three officers:
Visitation for Officer Kelly is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at White Memorial Chapel, 7204 Thomas Blvd., Point Breeze. His funeral will be conducted during the memorial service Thursday at the Petersen Events Center.
For Officer Mayhle, visitation is from noon to 9 p.m. Friday at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home in Indiana, Pa.
Officer Mayhle's funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, followed by burial in Oakland Cemetery, Indiana, Pa.
Officer Sciullo's visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Winter Funeral Home, 4730 Friendship Ave.
His funeral Mass is at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow at St. Joseph Church in Bloomfield. He will be buried immediately following the city memorial service. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Lawrenceville.
The Fraternal Order of Police has set up a fund for the families of three officers.
The public may send checks made out to the Pittsburgh Fallen Heroes Fund, Greater Pittsburgh Police Federal Credit Union, 1338 Chartiers Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15220.
Donors can designate where they want the money to go, such as children's education.
