Pittsburgh's Urban Redevelopment Authority is looking for a catchy new slogan to go on the Garden Theatre, the former porn theater on the North Side.
The URA took over the building earlier this week and is marketing the theater and 11 other properties to spark a redevelopment of the Federal Street and North Avenue corridors. ( Read story)
Yesterday, crews removed the long-running, four-line ditty "ADULT ENTERTAINMENT, ALL NEW SHOW WED & SUN, OPEN 9 AM, CONTINUOUS ALL DAY" from the marquee.
We asked readers what slogan should go up now. Here are some of the responses.

I think the marquee should post the previous owner's name, his address and home phone number - this way we can all "thank" him personally for holding out on the sale of the Garden. Something tells me he doesn't live in the Burgh.

I think the PURA should run a contest in which they choose a slogan or funny saying each week to appear on the marquee, open to Pittsburgh residents or all of Allegheny County. It could be a random choice or PURA could select it from all the week's entries (email?). This could keep the theatre in the news and help with marketing. If the marquee has 2 sides, one side could feature a selected permanent slogan and the other the rotating contest winner.
