CapCon 218's illustration of two geese considering their high-flying brethren (click on second image above to see cartoon) brought in a whopping 240-plus submissions, and the best was from Cheswick resident Bill Jackman, a clever contest regular who also claimed the top prize just three months ago. We're hoping to see similar interest in CapCon 219, since trying it is as easy as riding a bike.
Send up to three entries to email@example.com or mail to: Caption Contest/Portfolio, Post-Gazette, 34 Blvd. of the Allies, Pittsburgh PA 15222. Please include name and address and identify your municipality or Pittsburgh city neighborhood. Deadline: Sept. 23. Winners receive a PG umbrella, which you local public officials can open to shield your face from the media if summoned before a grand jury.
