Saturday: A panel discussion on the legacy of Oscar Micheaux kicks off at 6:45 p.m. It will be preceded by a reception at 5:30 and followed by clips of various films produced by black filmmakers, at Carnegie Mellon University's McConomy Auditorium in Oakland. Free.
Feb. 11: Happy Hour from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Andy Warhol Museum, North Side, followed by the film "Swing!" (1938) and the short "Symphony in Black" (1937).
Feb. 12: Films "Underworld" (1937) and the short "Spying the Spy" (1917) at 8 p.m. in the Pittsburgh Filmmakers Melwood Screening Room, 477 Melwood Ave., North Oakland. Admission: $3.
Feb. 18: Harlem Revisited, featuring Etta Cox in a medley of songs by Bessie Smith, Duke Ellington and others made popular during the Harlem Renaissance. The film "Body and Soul" (1924) also will be shown at 7 p.m. in the Manchester Craftsmen's Guild, 1815 Metropolitan St., North Side. Admission: $5.
Feb. 22: The film "Murder in Harlem" (1937) and the short "St. Louis Blues" (1929) begin at 7 p.m. in the University of Pittsburgh's William Pitt Union, Lower Lounge. Free.
Feb. 25: The film "Within Our Gates" (1920) and the short "Natural Born Gambler" (1916) will be shown at 7 p.m. in the Homewood Branch of the Carnegie Library, 7101 Hamilton Ave. Free.
