Emergency crews respond to two-car crash in Derry

A head-on collision between two vehicles in Derry Township, Westmoreland County, has sent at least one victim to the hospital by helicopter, according to Westmoreland County emergency workers.

The accident at Route 982 and Fisher Road occurred just before 11 p.m. and entrapped at least one person, emergency responders said. No information was available about how many victims were involved in the accident, or about their condition.
