Arnold fire leaves six people homeless

A state police fire marshal has been asked to investigate a blaze that left at least a half-dozen people homeless in Arnold.

The fire at a duplex in the 1200 block of Kenneth Avenue was reported at 6 a.m. today, according to a Westmoreland County emergency dispatcher. Everyone escaped the fire without injury, the dispatcher said.

No other details were immediately available.
