Speed might have been a factor in a crash that killed a Westmoreland County woman Saturday morning, the coroner's office there said.
Sherri A. Knox-Fink, 44, of Mount Pleasant, was driving a Chrysler Pacifica west on Stone Church Road in Hempfield when the vehicle crossed the center lane, went off the road and struck a mailbox, utility pole and a tree shortly after 8:30 a.m., the coroner's office said in a news release.
A deputy coroner pronounced her dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
