Two men were injured during a home invasion and robbery early this morning in Westmoreland County.

Police said a 27-year-old man was asleep on the couch in a home along Lafferty Street in Jeannette when three masked men broke in around 3 a.m., attacked him and demanded cash, KDKA-TV reported.

A 56-year-old man inside the home was shot in the shoulder, the station reported. He and the younger man were taken the Forbes Regional Hospital. Their conditions were not immediately available this morning.

A woman hiding in a bedroom was able to call police, KDKA-TV said.

No arrests have been made. Jeannette police did not immediately return a message this morning.
