In honor of fallen firefighter Edwin Jeffrey "Lance" Wentzel, Gov. Tom Corbett has ordered U.S. and Pennsylvania flags to be flown at half-staff at the Capitol Complex in Harrisburg and at commonwealth facilities in Westmoreland County.

Mr. Wentzel, 57, was helping search for a missing woman as part of the Youngwood Fire Department's search-and-rescue effort March 22 in North Versailles. He was struck and killed by a train.

The flags will remain lowered until sunset Thursday, the day of Mr. Wentzel's interment.
