The death of a Fayette County man in Mount Pleasant this morning seemed suspicious, according to the Westmoreland County coroner's office.

Someone walking near a parking lot near 219 Bridgeport St. spotted Robert Ohler, 40, outside a car, according to a press release from the Westmoreland County coroner's office. A deputy coroner pronounced Mr. Ohler dead at the scene shortly after 9 a.m.

Forensic pathologist Cyril H. Wecht is performing an autopsy today. The coroner's office said the official cause and manner of death will likely not be available for several weeks, during which time they will await the results of toxicology tests.

A spokesman for the Pennsylvania State Police in Greensburg, who are leading the investigation, could not immediately be reached for comment.
