Unity -- The Westmoreland Museum of American Art will hold the following art camps for children ages 10-12 from 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. at its temporary location, Westmoreland @rt30, 1000 Village Drive. FUNDRAISING

Greensburg -- The Westmoreland Museum of American Art will hold a Wrecking Ball Gala in celebration of its renovation from 7 to 9 p.m. July 13 at its current location, 221 N. Main St. An after-party will take place from 9 p.m. to midnight. The cost is $150 for the gala and after party; $40 for only the after-party. Information: 724-837-1500, ext. 36.

LECTURES/SEMINARS

Monroeville -- The adult department of Monroeville Public Library, 4000 Gateway Campus Blvd., in conjunction with the Greater Pittsburgh chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union of Pennsylvania, will present "Immigration 101: Comprehensive Immigration Reform and the Situation in Pennsylvania" from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. next Wednesday in the library's Gallery Space. Speaker is lawyer Robert Whitehall, who will answer questions about an upcoming immigration reform bill. Reservations: 412-681-7736.

Monroeville -- The adult department of Monroeville Public Library, 4000 Gateway Campus Blvd., will present "Common Core Standards, and Why They Matter" from 7 to 8:30 p.m. July 11. Monroeville -- Monroeville Public Library, 4000 Gateway Campus Blvd., will sponsor the following sessions of the Henry V Book Club from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays in advance of the August performances of "Henry V" in Monroeville Community Park and sponsored by Poor Yorick's Players. OPEN HOUSE

Unity -- The Westmoreland Library Network will host a Library Night from 5 to 7 p.m. next Wednesday at the temporary home of the Westmoreland Museum of American Art, Westmoreland @rt 30, 1000 Village Drive, as part of its Summer Reading Club. Included will be an art project involving words and images, a scavenger hunt, American Art Bingo, a thought bubbles activity, a reading area and more. Information: 724-837-1500.

RECREATION

Derry Township -- The state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources will sponsor the following events on Friday except where indicated. Information: 724-668-2566.

• Winged Beauties, a program on butterflies, 2 to 3 p.m.

• Boat Float, 6 to 7:30 p.m., Keystone Lake.

• Star Party at the Beach, 9 to 11 p.m. Saturday.

REGISTRATIONS

Pitcairn -- Pitcairn Camp B will hold registration for its annual Camp "B" excursion in the Laurel Highlands from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Pitcairn Italian Club, 628 Eighth St. This year's camp week runs from July 14 to 19 at Laurel Hill State Park.
