State police are searching for a suspect in the death of a Westmoreland County.

Trooper Steve Limani, a spokesman for the Greensburg barracks, said a 911 call was made around 1 p.m. Saturday reporting that a man was dead inside a home on Quarry Road in Torrance.

Police declined to release the victim's name, age, or how he died but said it was being treated as a homicide.

Investigators are continuing to interview witnesses at the scene to sort out what happened, Trooper Limani said. It was unclear if the victim and suspect knew each other.

Police described the suspect as a black male, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing between 180 and 200 pounds. He was seen fleeing the scene wearing an Oakland Raiders beanie, gray pants and a gray-hooded sweatshirt in a two-door, two-tone maroon car, according to police.
