A section of Interstate 79 will have single-lane traffic and two ramps will be closed tonight, PennDOT announced this morning.

Traffic will be limited to one lane in both directions between Bridgeville (Exit 54) and Crafton-Moon Run (Exit 60) from 7 p.m. today until 5 a.m. Tuesday.

The on-ramp to northbound I-79 at Carnegie and the ramp from northbound I-79 to the inbound Parkway West will close at 9 p.m. today and reopen by 5 a.m. Tuesday.

The detour for the closed on-ramp takes traffic on southbound I-79 to turn around using the Bridgeville interchange. The detour for the parkway ramp keeps drivers on I-79 to turn around using the Crafton-Moon Run interchange.
