House fire in Bridgeville causes traffic delays

A two-alarm fire at a home on the 3400 block of Route 50/Washington Pike in Bridgeville caused heavy traffic delays Saturday evening.

Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Department was called to the scene around 4 p.m., along with responders from South Fayette, Upper St. Clair and Bethel Park, a Bridgeville emergency shift commander said.

The fire has been reported "under control," the shift commander said. There were no injuries.
