A paving project at the Oakdale interchange of Route 22/30 will cause detours starting April 1.

McKee Road in North Fayette will be closed for 25 days between the highway ramps and the Community College of Allegheny County West Center, North Fayette police Lt. Mike Hamm said tonight.

The official detour will be Oakdale Road to the Hankey Farms interchange of Route 22/30, he said.

Lt. Hamm said the biggest factors are going to be student traffic for CCAC and Pittsburgh Technical Institute, both on McKee Road.

“That’s a crazy road at rush hour,” supervisors chairman Jim Morosetti said.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation project involves Lindy Paving Inc. working on the ramps and under the bridge at the Route 22/30 Oakdale exit.
