An early morning three-alarm blaze in an Aliquippa Industrial Park building has been brought under control, but damaged two businesses there, Aliquippa Fire Chief David Foringer said.
Ten nearby companies responded to the 4:32 a.m. fire call, he said, at Steel Street Commerce Center I, 101 Steel St., which houses Master Halco Inc., a fencing company, and Metalwerks PMD Inc., a processor of specialty metals.
Fire crews and the state police fire marshal remained on the scene until about noon today. State fire marshal David Jungling, who is assisting the Aliquippa Police Department, said the investigation is ongoing and that “nothing has been ruled out.”
Police were unavailable for comment, and no injuries were reported.
