Here's a roundup of trick-or-treating hours in West communities:

ALLEGHENY COUNTY

Bridgeville -- 6 to 8 p.m. next Thursday

Carnegie -- 6 to 8 p.m. next Thursday; the annual children's Halloween parade will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Main Street Bridge, with registration starting at noon. All children must be registered to be eligible for prizes in these age groups: infants through preschool; grades K-1; grades 2-3; and grades 4-6. Each child will receive a treat bag and raffle ticket. To donate money, candy or raffle items: 412-249-8996.

A History and Mystery Tour of the Andrew Carnegie Free Library and Music Hall, including tales of ghostly experiences and encounters, will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Sundayat the library, Beechwood Avenue. Cost: $10. Information: 412-276-3456, ext., 7 or www.carnegiecarnegie.org.

Collier -- 6 to 8 p.m. next Thursday; a parade will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Webb Park on Walnut Avenue, with lineup and registration starting at noon. The annual Night Walk on the Panhandle Trail will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday.The event will include a display of 100 carved and lit pumpkins along the trail plus hot chocolate, sweet cider and a bonfire with storytelling. Treat bags will be given to kids younger than 12. New this year are hayrides starting at 7:30 p.m. Parking will be available at the Collier Public Works Yard off Noblestown Road.

Coraopolis -- 6:30 to 8 p.m. next Thursday

Crafton -- 6 to 8 p.m. next Thursday

Crescent -- 6:30 to 8 p.m. next Thursday

Findlay -- 6 to 8 p.m. next Thursday; a Halloween pizza party will be held at noon Saturday in the township activity center followed by a parade at 1:30 from the activity center to the Imperial Volunteer Fire Deptartment. Reservations: 724-695-0500.

Green Tree -- 6 to 8 p.m. next Thursday; activities for Green Tree children only will take place at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Green Tree Fire Hall with a costume parade, contests, treats and entertainment. Dan Kuniak will present a Spooktacular Magic Show, and a pumpkin-carving contest will be held. Kids should bring their carved pumpkins with them. Judging categories include scariest, most creative and funniest.

Heidelberg -- 6-8 p.m. next Thursday

Ingram -- Trick-or-treating begins after the 1:30 p.m. parade Saturday and ends at 4 p.m.; the parade lineup will be at 1 p.m. at the lower level of the borough building on Thorndale Street.

Kennedy -- 6 to 8 p.m. next Thursday

McDonald -- 6 to 8 p.m. next Thursday; the annual Trick or Treat Luminary Walk will be held at 7 p.m. Friday on the Panhandle Trail, beginning at the McDonald Trail Station. Children age 11 and younger may dress in costumes and walk the trail to receive treats. Pre-registration required: Washington County Parks and Recreation office, at 724-228-6867.

McKees Rocks -- 6 to 8 p.m. next Thursday

Moon -- 6:30 to 8 p.m. next Thursday

Neville -- 6 to 8 p.m. next Thursday

North Fayette -- 6 to 8 p.m. next Thursday

Oakdale -- 5:30 to 8 p.m. next Thursday; a parade also will be held at that time, with lineup by Willow Creek Crossing.

Pennsbury Village -- 6 to 8 p.m. next Thursday

Pittsburgh -- 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. next Thursday

Robinson -- 6 to 8 p.m. next Thursday; Halloween in the Park, including food and festivities, will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Clever Park Rotary Shelter. Forest Grove Fire Department and the Montour marching band will lead a parade through the park. Come in costume. Lineup at 11:45 a.m.

Rosslyn Farms -- 6 to 8 p.m. next Thursday

Scott -- 6 to 8 p.m. next Thursday

South Fayette -- 6 to 8 p.m. next Thursday

Stowe -- 6 to 8 p.m. next Thursday

Thornburg -- 6 to 8 p.m. next Thursday
