A SWAT incident in Findlay ended tonight with two men taken into police custody.

Around 6:48 p.m., police received word that two men had fired shots into a vehicle in an attempt to rob a man on Stark Avenue in Imperial, Findlay police chief Jesse Lesko said. The two men fled on foot.

A K-9 unit tracked the men to a home on the 3100 block of Santiago Road in Findlay. Township and North Fayette police secured the home, the chief said. The Allegheny County Special Weapons and Tactics team was dispatched around 7:30 p.m., according to a county emergency dispatch supervisor.

About 8 to 10 minutes after communication was established with the men, one exited the home, Chief Lesko said. A flashbang was used, and about 10 minutes later, the second man surrendered.

One weapon was found in the home.

Andre Hill, 19, of Homewood and William Moore, 23, of Fineview were being interviewed by police late Tuesday night. Chief Lesko said he was unsure what charges the men would face. They will be transported to the Allegheny County Jail, he said.

No injuries were reported.

"It was a great concerted effort from everyone involved," the chief said.
