Eight people on a hayride were taken to a local hospital tonight after the tractor pulling them overturned.

Findlay police said about 20 people were taking the hayride at a private farm off of Winter Trail Road when the farm tractor pulling the wagon began to slide on mud and wet grass. The tractor jack-knifed and ejected riders out of the wagon, police said.

Of the eight people taken to the hospital, one suffered a moderate injury, police said. The rest were treated for minor injuries. Three additional people were treated at the scene and declined to go to a hospital.
