The man who died in a crash in Washington County on Tuesday had suffered a heart attack, Coroner S. Timothy Warco said.

John F. Duda, 67, of Coal Center, was driving a Ford SUV on Route 519 in Chartiers when he veered off the road and struck a tree at about 5:30 a.m. The cause of death was blunt force trauma following a cardiac event and the manner of death was ruled accidental, Mr. Warco said.
