A Charleroi woman accused of setting fire to her former Washington County apartment complex is facing dozens of charges.
Tina Koskoski, 46, was arrested Friday and indicted on 179 counts, including multiple counts of arson, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and simple assault, for the fire that occurred last summer at the Central Apartments in Roscoe.
The day of the blaze, Ms. Koskoski told police she discovered the fire and alerted residents, according to KDKA-TV.
Investigators said she admitted she started the fire because she was upset with drug abuse by neighbors and with nosy neighbors in the building.
Four tenants and three firefighters were injured, and nine pets were killed in the blaze. More than 30 residents were left homeless. The building has since been condemned.
Ms. Koskoski is being held at the Washington County Jail on $50,000 bond.
