A Washington County man was found dead this morning in West Bethlehem following a motorcycle crash.

Washington County Coroner Tim Warco said Victor J. Brova, 56, of Washington, was pronounced dead today at 8:17 a.m. at the accident scene at Weaver School and Wilson roads.

Mr. Warco said the accident happened sometime between 8 p.m. Saturday and 6:50 a.m. today when a family friend who was looking for Mr. Brova found his body.

Mr. Warco said Mr. Brova was operating his Harley-Davidson bike when the vehicle went out of control on a bend, struck a ditch and traveled another 51 feet before stopping in a grassy area. Mr. Brova was ejected from the motorcycle. Pennsylvania State Police said he was wearing a helmet.

Mr. Brova died from blunt force trauma to the head and neck, and Mr. Warco has ruled his death an accident.
