Pedestrian struck by train

An unidentified man is being treated for serious injuries suffered when he was struck by a train this morning in Duquesne.

County police said they responded to a call of a pedestrian struck on the tracks near Duquesne Avenue and Center Street just after 8 a.m.

The man was transported to Mercy Hospital with major trauma injuries.
