CHILDREN

Brentwood -- A story and song time for toddlers and their parents or guardians will be held at 11 a.m. today at Brentwood Public Library, 3501 Brownsville Road.

CLASSES

Baldwin Borough -- A craft class for adults on how to make a winter wreath will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 9 at Baldwin Borough Public Library, 41 Macek Drive. Cost: $20. Register with payment at the library by Jan. 3: 412-885-2255.

Whitehall -- Classes on these topics will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturdays during January at Whitehall Public Library, 100 Borough Park Drive: Jan. 4, Kindle; Jan. 11, iPad; Jan. 18, downloading library books on Kindle; and Jan. 25, using an iPad to borrow eBooks and eAudiobooks. HOLIDAYS

Beechview -- Beechview United Presbyterian Church will hold a holiday boutique of vendors of jewelry, purses, lotions and more from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at a storefront at 1553 Broadway Ave.

Castle Shannon -- First Presbyterian Church of Castle Shannon, with Bethany Lutheran Church of Dormont and Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, will hold its annual Christmas Day dinner from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday in the church social hall, 3636 Poplar Ave. The free ham dinner is to provide companionship and a meal to those who might be alone on the holiday or who may be in need. To make reservations to eat at the church: 412-561-0401 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. To request home delivery of the meal, call by Friday.

SPECIAL INTEREST

Baldwin Borough -- Book Bingo for adults, with books as prizes, will be offered at 7 p.m. Jan. 7 at Baldwin Borough Public Library, 41 Macek Drive. To register: 412-885-2255.

Baldwin Borough -- Baldwin Borough Public Library is organizing a trip March 1-2 to an indoor flower show in Philadelphia.
