CLASSES

Bethel Park -- Tendai Manyeza, a missionary serving with the health program at the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church, will speak about work in Zimbabwe at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 30 at Christ United Methodist Church, 44 Highland Road.

FITNESS

Peters -- Peters Township High School cheerleaders will hold a pancake breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at St. Benedict the Abbot Church, 120 Abington Drive. FUNDRAISER

Mt. Lebanon -- The Denis Theatre Foundation will host an evening of movie trivia starting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Walnut Grill, 660 Washington Road. There is a $5 per person entry fee. All proceeds benefit the Denis Theatre Foundation.

Uniontown -- Share the Spirit, a holiday open house to raise funds for five nonprofits, will be held from 6 to 11 p.m. Dec. 14 at the State Theatre Center for the Arts, 37 E. Main St., with Fayette County restaurants providing appetizers, entrees and desserts. The event is free, but guests are asked to make a donation to either the American Heart Association, Boy Scouts of America, the Dowling Family Fund, Rotary International or the State Theatre Center for the Arts. HOLIDAYS

Upper St. Clair -- The DeMarillac Guild will presents its Joy of Christmas Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 23 at St. Louise DeMarillac School and Parish Center, 320 McMurray Road. More than 100 crafters will be present. Admission is $2.

MEETINGS

Pleasant Hills -- The Retired Men's Luncheon Group of Pleasant Hills will meet at noon next Thursday in the Fellowship Hall of the Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church, 199 Old Clairton Road. OUTDOORS

PERFORMANCES

Whitehall -- Members of the Waynesburg University Lamplighter Choir will offer a free concert at 6 p.m. Friday at the Sisters of St. Francis of the Providence of God's Mary Immaculate Chapel, 3603 McRoberts Road. Upper St. Clair -- Philippine-American Performing Arts of Greater Pittsburgh will present its second annual recital and gala at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Upper St. Clair High School Theater, 1825 McLaughlin Run Road. The performance will present 16 traditional folk dances that portray festivities surrounding courtship and weddings. General admission is $10, with children 5 and younger admitted free. Bethel Park -- The Bethel Park Lions' annual holiday citrus and pecan sale is underway, with 20-pound boxes of grapefruit selling for $16, oranges for $17, combination of both for $16.50 and a container of pecans for $11.50. Bethel Park -- A ladies-only night of shopping will be offered from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at Christ United Methodist Church, 44 Highland Road. Mt. Lebanon -- The Book Cellar will hold a sale of children's books, CDs and DVDs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday from its location on the lower level of Mt. Lebanon Public Library, 16 Castle Shannon Blvd.

TALKS

Bethel Park -- Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald will speak at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday at Bethel Park Community Center, 5151 Park Ave., as part of a speaker series sponsored by Bethel Park Recreation Department.

Dormont -- Len Barcousky, a Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reporter and author of "Civil War Pittsburgh: Forge of the Union," will discuss his book at 7 p.m. Wednesday at a talk hosted by the Dormont Historical Society at Dormont Presbyterian Church, 2865 Espy Ave. The talk is free and open to the public.
