A Connellsville woman faces charges of production and distribution of child pornography following her arraignment and the unsealing of an indictment today.

Lisa A. Renze, 48, is accused of making pornographic photographs of a minor on Jan. 30, 2010, and distributing them five times over the course of the year. The indictment, which was handed down July 9, does not detail the accusations.

Her attorney, Ron Hayward, entered a plea of not guilty and demanded a jury trial. He declined further comment.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Cynthia R. Eddy released Ms. Renze on $50,000 unsecured bond, with the condition that she have no unsupervised contact with minors.

The charge of production of child pornography carries a minimum penalty of 15 years in prison, and a maximum of 30 years.
