Allegheny County homicide detectives on Thursday obtained an arrest warrant for a man wanted in connection with an April 6 shooting death in Rankin.

Darryl Reaves, who has ties to the Braddock and Rankin areas, has been charged with homicide, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and weapons violations, according to homicide Lt. Andrew Schurman in a news release.

Police describe Mr. Reaves as about 6 feet 2 and 180 pounds. He has a receding hairline and tattoos on the backs of his hands: the right with the letter "D" and the left with the letter "R."

Tyrone Milton, 50, of Braddock was shot in the early morning hours during an argument at Deb's Place, a bar on Miller Avenue in Rankin, a spokesman for the Allegheny County medical examiner said. He died at 6:30 p.m. at UPMC Presbyterian.

County police ask anyone with information to call the homicide unit at 412-473-1300.
