Allegheny County police get warrant for Hill District man in McKeesport killing

Allegheny County police have obtained an arrest warrant charging a Hill District man in a McKeesport killing.

The warrant charges Mark Leonard, 32, with homicide and weapons violations in the Jan. 11 killing of Jayemond Bailey, 34, inside the Street Stars bar on Sixth Avenue, county police said.

County police described Mr. Leonard as 5-foot-11 and 175 pounds with "distinctive" hazel eyes and tattoos on both sides of his neck. County police said he has been seen with a bald head and a beard.

In addition to the Hill District, county police have known Mr. Leonard to go also to McKeesport and Pittsburgh's Manchester neighborhood.

County police said anyone spotting Mr Leonard should call 911 immediately, they asked anyone who has information about him or his whereabouts to call the county police homicide unit at 412-473-1300 or McKeesport police.
