Authorities in Allegheny County are investigating several overnight fires in Glassport as possible arson.

Chief Deputy Fire Marshal Don Brucker said no injuries were reported in the fires, which were all reported within a couple of hours.

The first fire started at an abandoned church on the 800 block of Ohio Avenue, two garage fires started near 937 Vermont Ave. and, about 15 minutes later, another at 840 Indiana Ave., Chief Deputy Brucker said.

"There are suspicious circumstances surrounding all three fire scenes," Chief Deputy Brucker wrote in an email.

The fire marshal's office, county police and Glassport police and fire departments are investigating. Chief Deputy Brucker did not have a damage estimate.

Investigators asked anyone with information to call the fire marshal's office anonymous tip line at 412-473-2776.
