Mount Washington heroin dealer Christopher Gyorko will spend more than a decade in federal prison for shipping narcotics from Pittsburgh into West Virginia and Ohio.
U.S. District Judge John Bailey in Wheeling today sentenced Gyorko, 31, to 130 months behind bars as the leader of a 13-person ring.
Federal agents said he and his cohorts transported heroin into Ohio and Marshall counties in West Virginia and into surrounding parts of Ohio, where local associates sold it.
The ring was dismantled in June 2015 when federal authorities brought an 18-count indictment against Gyorko and others, while additional members of the network were prosecuted in state court.
Gyorko pleaded guilty in November.
