A project to add a lane to the outbound Parkway West approaching Interstate 79 will cause lane and shoulder closures beginning tonight, PennDOT announced.
Single-lane closures are possible between Rosslyn Farms and I-79 starting at 10 p.m. today through Thursday. Two-lane closures are possible after midnight. A contractor will work to close the westbound shoulder and restripe lanes. All restrictions will lift by 6 a.m. each day.
The lane closures will be delayed until two hours after the end of the Pirates games.
Lane closures also are possible on the inbound side during the work hours as crews close a shoulder to prepare for installation of an overhead sign.
