Prescription drug drop-off set Saturday

The Allegheny County police will collect unwanted, unused and expired prescription drugs and other medications from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at two locations.

People can drop off drugs at the North Park County Police Station, 700 W. Ridge Drive in McCandless and the South Park County Police Station on Buffalo Drive between Corrigan and Farmshow drives.

The service is free and anonymous. No liquid medications or needles accepted.
