More information on the five nearby National Park Service sites is available by calling 724-329-8131 or by going to the website www.nps.gov/flni/. Then click on the tab for "Explore the National Parks of Western PA."

Spring hours for the Flight 93 National Memorial in Stonycreek are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., with last entry at 6:30 p.m. Visitors will be sharing park roads with construction vehicles.

The home of Albert Gallatin at Friendship Hill National Historic Site in Point Marion is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays through Mondays. The house can be toured seven days per week starting May 11. The park grounds remain open sunrise to sunset year-round.

The Mount Washington Tavern and picnic area at Fort Necessity National Battlefield in Farmington will open April 15. Another unit of the battlefield site, Jumonville Glen, will open on May 1.

The grounds around the Allegheny Portage Railroad National Historic Site, just east of Altoona, and the Johnstown Flood National Memorial are open from sunrise to sunset daily. Park offices are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
