The attorney general's office has filed child pornography charges against five Pennsylvania men in separate investigations, including one from Westmoreland County and two from Franklin County.

Jeffrey Pearson, 41, of Olive Drive in Trafford, was being held on a $75,000 bond on 22 counts of possession and distribution of child pornography following an investigation by the Attorney General's Child Predator Unit.

State agents executed a search warrant on Mr. Pearson's residence last week and seized a laptop computer on which they said they found 50 video files and more than 100 images of child porn. He faces a preliminary hearing April 29.

Agents also arrested two Franklin County men Thursday following an online investigation.

Joe Barclay, 59, and Evan Lawbaugh, 30, both of Waynesboro, were charged with possession and distribution. Both were being held in the Franklin County Prison on $300,000 bonds.

The other two suspects arrested recently are from Pike and Northumberland counties.
