Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum will offer free admission next Monday in honor of Veterans Day.

The hall will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In addition, the hall's U.S. Colored Troops youth re-enactment drum corps, part of a tribute to Civil War veterans, will participate in the city's parade that day. The hall in 2009 established the Civil War drum and fife re-enactment corps for the 6th Regiment United States Colored Troops, as the unit was known at the time. The drum corps performs drum beats and marches used during the Civil War.

Also on Monday, the hall's president, John McCabe, will participate in the Remembrance Day Roll Call organized by the University of Pittsburgh Office of Veterans Services.

Mr. McCabe will help read the names of the 258 veterans from Pennsylvania who have died in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
