North Huntingdon polic investigate suspicious fire

An early morning fire that injured several people has been deemed suspicious by North Huntingdon Township police.

According to the North Huntingdon police, at 5:48 a.m. a call came in that an intoxicated male was seen near a burning structure at 2381 Scotch Hill Road. The fire caused extensive damage to the structure, as well as to adjoining buildings and a nearby vehicle.

Several people, including a firefighter, were transported to Forbes Regional Hospital for injuries related to the fire. North Huntingdon police detectives and fire officials are investigating the incident.
