Heat advisory issued for Pittsburgh region

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for much of Western Pennsylvania this afternoon.

Temperatures will be in the lower 90s but high humidity will make it feel like it's close to 100 degrees in Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Greene, Washington and Lawrence counties, according to the weather service.

The heat advisory will be in effect from noon until 6 p.m.
