A man was found dead this morning after a house fire in Armstrong Township, Pennsylvania State Police said.

A neighbor called 911 about 4:40 a.m. when he drove by 195 Buckley Road and saw it in flames, state police said in a press release.

After firefighters put out the blaze and could make safe entry, they found its resident, Terry Pease, 59, dead inside a bedroom.

No one else was inside.

The state police fire marshal helped at the scene and will determine the fire's cause and origin.

Creekside Volunteer Fire Department and the Indiana County coroner were not immediately available. State police are helping in the investigation.
