Two Somerset County men were arrested today after Pennsylvania State Police said they found evidence of a meth lab in their apartment.

Jordan O'Donnell, 22, and Matthew Bowman, 29, of Meyersdale, were operating the lab in their second-floor flat in the 7000 block of Mason Dixon Highway, state police in Somerset said in a news release.

On Monday, state police were investigating a case of potential theft and forgery when they received information about a methamphetamine-production lab.

Troopers and Meyersdale police executed a search warrant early this morning and found evidence of a working lab. About 6 a.m., the state police Clandestine Lab Team removed items that are used to make the drug, police said.

Both men have been charged with manufacturing controlled substances, conspiracy to manufacture controlled substances, possession of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia.

They were in the Somerset County Jail, Mr. Bowman on $125,000 bond and Mr. O'Donnell on $75,000 bond.
