Pittsburgh police arrested Aaron Touchstone, 21, of Manchester Friday night for a variety of charges stemming from an accident earlier that evening, in which a 3-year-old was hit by a stolen SUV in California-Kirkbride.

Public safety spokeswoman Sonya Toler said the charges include driving with a suspended license, causing an accident which resulted in injuries, receiving stolen property and possession of controlled substances. Police say the drugs included marijuana, crack cocaine and heroin.

The child is recovering from a broken leg.
