Seneca Valley School District will be purchasing property adjacent to the entrance of the Jackson Township campus.

School board members approved a sales agreement tonight with Harold and Awynn Moyer. The district will buy 114 Seneca Valley Road for $100,000.

Linda Andreassi, district spokeswoman, said there are no plans yet for the property. She said it has been for sale and district officials came to an agreement with the Moyers on Friday.

“It makes sense for us to buy the property because it sits within the boundaries of our property,” Ms. Andreassi said.

The school board will use money from the district’s capital reserve fund for the purchase, she said.
