Rescue crews continue searching the Allegheny River today for the ex-boyfriend of a woman badly burned in a house explosion early Wednesday in Harrison.

Relatives told KDKA-TV that Michael Switliski’s car was found near the Tarentum Bridge Thursday evening and that witnesses saw a man jump from the bridge into the river. Rescue workers spent three hours Thursday night looking for Mr. Switliski.

Tina Slomkoski suffered burns over 25 percent of her body in the explosion.

The Allegheny County fire marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the blast.
