The former head of Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV in Grove City, which provides educational services to schools in Butler, Lawrence and Mercer counties, pleaded guilty today to stealing from the program.
Cecelia Yauger, 56, of Grove City, was charged earlier this month in U.S. District Court with theft of federal funds.
Federal prosecutors said she used a credit card provided by the unit for non-business spending and didn't keep any receipts or submit travel vouchers during her time as executive director from 2007 to 2013.
The amount she stole was not specified but was greater than $5,000.
