Repairs to an overpass that was hit by a truck at the Route 65-Interstate 79 interchange in Glenfield will begin Wednesday morning, according to PennDOT.

The overpass, which carries traffic from northbound I-79 to Route 65, has been closed since a truck hit it early Friday. During repairs, the ramp from Route 65 to southbound I-79, which passes under the damaged structure, also will be closed, PennDOT spokesman Steve Cowan said.

There is no estimated time for reopening the ramps, he said.

Drivers can use Kilbuck Street and Deer Run Road to avoid the closures.
