The men, employees of J&J Roofing in Vandergrift, were working on the roof of a building at Weleski Transfer Inc., 500 Treadway Lane, when the collapse occurred about 9 a.m., Weleski safety director Harriett Archibald said.

The men fell 15 to 20 feet, she said.. Two were transported by medical helicopter to Pittsburgh hospitals. Two others were taken to hospitals by ambulance, and one man refused treatment, she said.
