Star parties June 6, 7 at Wagman Observatory

Wagman Star Parties start at 8:50 p.m. June 6 and 7 at the Nicholas E. Wagman Observatory in Deer Lakes Regional Park, Frazer.

Sponsored by the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh, the look at the June night sky will feature Saturn, with its rings and several of its moons, as well as Mars and Jupiter.

The Moon will be a day or two after first quarter and the Hercules Cluster and the Ring Nebula will be seen.

The Star Party will be held if weather permits. Call 724-224-2510 for more information.
